Santo Stefano Di Magra
Santo Stefano di Magra is a town of La Spezia and which is located in the place where the river Vara confluisce with the Magra and it is part of the regional nature reserve of Montemarcello-Magra. In the village there are the mighty walls that surround the village and is divided into two parts from an old central street. The church that is located in the municipality is dedicated to Santo Stefano and was built in the eighteenth century on the foundations of a medieval church. The municipality of Santo Stefano di Magra belonged to the Province of Massa-Carrara from 1859 to 1923 when it passed to the newly Province of La Spezia.
